Best Movies of 2021: No Ordinary Man featured by The New Yorker

While The Indie Wire recently featured No Ordinary Man on their predictions for Best Documentary – Feature at the Oscars 2022, Aisling Chin-Yee and Chase Joynt’s documentary on the life of Billy Tipton is now listed as one of the best movies of 2021 in The New Yorker. Richard Brody writes:

“In the empathetic, self-questioning vision of the directors Aisling Chin-Yee and Chase Joynt, their film about the transgender musician Billy Tipton is also a wide-ranging analysis of the very implications of making the film.”
